Okara is what's left over when soybeans are made into soy milk. The nutrients that were not squeezed out of the soy milk remain in the okara. By drying okara in a short period of time, it prevents thermal denaturation of proteins, suppresses deterioration of ingredients and growth of bacteria, and maintains the taste and quality of the product. Protein is essential for both our pets and us to survive. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. There are 20 types of amino acids that our bodies make, and some of t- hem cannot be made by the body. These are called essential amino acids. Okara contains a good balance of these essential amino acids.
Made with domestically produced soybeans. Try soaking it in hot water and mixing it with dry food.
