Bitter Apple is a topical spray that discourages your dog from licking, chewing, or biting. This bitter flavor spray leaves an unpleasant, yet harmless taste in your dog's mouth. It is safe to use on most any surface including wounds, hot spots, bandages, leashes, shoes, and furniture.
Directions:Shake before using. Apply topically. Avoid spraying in eyes. Repeat as often as needed.
About Grannick's Bitter Apple - The original taste deterrent for dogs
Back in 1960, a dog fancier visited founder Irv Grannick's pharmacy and asked for a product that could stop her dog from chewing and licking his coat. No such product existed, so Grannick decided to come up with his own formula called \"Bitter Apple®\". Fascinated by its efficacy, many dog fanciers and breeders were eager to get their hands on it. That was when Grannick decided to establish \"Grannick's Bitter Apple®\" as a brand of taste deterrent for dogs.
Many copycat products appeared because other manufacturers all wanted a piece of Grannick's success. These copycat brands have come and gone because dog soon acquired a taste for them, but Grannick's Bitter Apple® works and keeps working even to this day.
