What is tripe and why is it green? Tripe is the nutrient-rich stomach lining of ruminating animals (e. g. bison, deer and lamb). You might remember seeing white tripe in the grocery store. It's white because it has been thoroughly rinsed and bleached, but has very little nutritional value for pets. On the contrary, the unbleached and all-natural green tripe, although not visually pleasing, provides your pet with 7 essential amino acids, an ideal ratio of calcium to phosphorus, and plenty of important vitamins and nutrients, making them beneficial for skin & coat, weight maintenance, digestive health, muscle recovery and more.
